The service is funded by subscriptions, so there's no free tier. Accounts work in any mail app via IMAP, POP3 and SMTP, and include webmail with calendars, address books and tasks. It runs on Open-Xchange from ISO 27001-certified, GDPR-compliant servers in Germany, with TLS and at-rest encryption. End-to-end encryption via OX Guard is included on the Apex plan and available as an add-on on all plans.
