AccountyCat

AccountyCat

A focus companion that actually gets context

AccountyCat is an intelligent focus companion for macOS that offers a sophisticated approach to productivity by reading context rather than relying on restrictive blocking lists. Sitting discreetly in your menu bar, it observes your active application and window title, occasionally taking a screenshot only when necessary for deeper understanding. It then quietly nudges you if your focus drifts. AccountyCat can intelligently differentiate when YouTube is a distraction versus when it is a legitimate tutorial, providing truly smart guidance. It runs entirely on-device using Qwen via llama.cpp or connects with your own OpenRouter key, ensuring privacy. As an open-source, auditable, and private tool, AccountyCat treats interrupting legitimate work as a critical bug, prioritizing your workflow above all else.
