Turfs & Fences on the Mac Desktop lets you use your desktop as a real workspace. You can keep content from across your Mac accessible and organized in defined areas, or just keep things clutter-free. A turf can be backed by an actual folder, and a fence is a separate area on your desktop where you can drop things. Turfs and fences stay where you put them, and you can choose what happens when you double-click a turf. If you're in a different space, the fence stays on the desktop you're in. You can also have a turf that's not on the desktop, and it will show up in the Fence menu. It costs $29 and includes a 10-day free trial.
